It is the policy of Falcon Surfacing Limited that the company shall be committed to a continual improvement of its environmental performance, and shall comply with all the relevant regulatory and statutory legislative requirements, in particular the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
The management undertakes that this policy, having been initiated, will be developed, reviewed and actively supported at the highest level and will be consistent with the other company policies.
The management also undertakes that the Environmental Policy will remain relevant to all company activities, products and services, and their environmental effects, and that it will be made, understood, implemented and maintained at all levels within the company.
The aims of the Environmental Policy will be achieved by the implementation and maintaining of appropriate effective two way communication and training to all personnel on environmental matters.
Falcon Surfacing Limited is committed to a policy that will lead to a minimisation of the adverse impact of our activities upon the environment and upon the quality of life of the local communities in which we live and work. Falcon Surfacing Limited policy is to be a good neighbour and a responsible member of society.
The company recognises the need to comply with all laws and regulations, both national and international, especially those that serve to protect the environment. The company will utilise policies and procedures that will ensure conservation of natural resources whilst minimising any environmental impact from our operations. Conservation of our natural resources must begin with waste reduction and re—cycling. We must all strive to ensure that any adverse impact upon the environment on quality of life is prevented or at least minimised during the company‘s activities, including the storage, transportation and disposal of products and wastes. We aim to continually monitor environmental issues and strive to improve our performance in line with current best practices.
We will ensure that all employees are made aware of this policy at their induction into the company.
This policy will be displayed in the company office and made available to all staff, visitors to sit and members of the public upon request.
